It's time to start changing
What can you do?
We can probably all agree that we want the future on the right in the picture above.
But how do you get there? Where do you start?
The EU has set a goal with the European Green Deal, and a lot of initiatives, rules and regulations have been put in place to get there. This may seem a little too fluffy for you, so let's start locally and look at what YOU can do in YOUR business.
Switch to electric vehicles
How many kilometers do you drive per day?
New electric trucks and buses have a range of 300+ km, while vans and cars often have even longer ranges.
EU Goal:
By 2030 EU will have 30 million zero-emissions cars and 80.000 zero-emissions trucks.
See your footprint
Before starting to reduce your CO2 emissions, you need to know what your current numbers are.
Then you can tell the effect of your efforts.
EU Goal:
EU’s emissions must be reduced by at least 55% by 2030.
Stay updated
Keep up with new legislation and stay ahead of the curve so you're ready when the new rules come into effect.
Recycle waste
By providing separate bins for different types of waste, you can make recycling processes more efficient, help divert waste from landfills, and support the circular economy.
EU Goal:
By 2025, 55% of municipal waste and 65% of packaging waste must be prepared for re-use or recycled.
Pick up plastic
When you're out in nature, if you see plastic or other litter, pick it up and dispose of it in a trash can. This small action helps protect wildlife, keep areas clean, and preserve the environment for everyone to enjoy.
Digital cleanup
Delete old emails. Remove apps you never use. Delete blurry images and doublets. Every small action counts.
99% of all data was created within the last 10 years.
90% of all data is never accessed 3 months after it is stored.
The internet emits as much CO2 as global air travel.
Help our nature
Plant trees and flowers for biodiversity. Help our pollinators and endangered species.
EU Goal:
Plant 3 billion trees before 2030.
